Pet Health Certificate Consultation: What Is Included

By Transcontinental Pet Movers LLC · Updated October 11, 2026

When you arrange an international trip with your pet, the passenger booking is only one part of the preparation. You also need a plan for the records, veterinary appointments and documents that apply to the journey. Our consultation helps owners leaving the United States organize that work while booking their own accompanied travel.

What you receive

What the consultation costs

The published professional fee is $500–$800 for one dog or cat, depending principally on destination complexity. Multi-pet journeys and other species are quoted individually. The quote confirms the work before engagement begins.

Veterinary examinations, vaccinations, laboratory testing, government filings, permits, USDA endorsement, couriers and airline charges are paid separately. The fee covers one defined journey until travel, cancellation or 12 months from the start of work, whichever comes first.

Who it fits

This service is intended for owners travelling with their pets and arranging their own passenger flights. A proposed in-cabin or checked-baggage itinerary still needs to be checked against the destination’s rules and the airline’s acceptance policies. A consultation quote does not confirm that a proposed travel method is available.

If your pet needs manifest-cargo flight booking, request full flight-booking assistance. A consultation fee paid for the same journey is credited toward the full-service quotation under the published transition policy.

What remains with your veterinarian and you

Your veterinarian examines the pet, makes clinical decisions, checks the certificate and issues it. USDA endorsement is a separate government step when required. You remain responsible for the passenger booking and outside applications unless the written scope states otherwise. We cannot guarantee government approval or airline acceptance.

Before you inquire

Gather your departure location, destination, approximate date, pet species and breed, and intended travel method. Tell us what your veterinarian has advised. Use the inquiry form for a summary; do not upload or paste sensitive documents.

Email is the primary support channel. Calls are subject to availability during 9 a.m.–5 p.m. Pacific Time, with veterinary-appointment standby arranged in advance. Read the full service details and engagement boundaries before deciding.
