Let your team focus on veterinary care. We’ll handle the travel coordination.

International travel can leave owners uncertain about what to ask for, which appointments to book and which documents they actually need. Those questions can turn into repeated calls, conflicting requests and extra work for your team. Refer the owner to Transcontinental Pet Movers: we help them understand the requirements, organise the plan and coordinate the paperwork with your practice.

The pet owner engages us and remains our client. We act as their advocate and authorised point of contact. Your practice continues to provide veterinary care and retains its clinical responsibilities.

Experienced full-service pet agents, supporting a self-booked journey

Our experience at Transcontinental Pet Movers extends beyond preparing a certificate. Travel dates change, routes become unsuitable and owners need alternatives. We help the owner understand the situation, build a workable plan and adjust it as the journey develops.

You are not buying a product. You are buying a service—a service that stays by your side, working through your complicated and complex situation with you until your pet travels.

How we work with your practice

We aim to reduce avoidable interruptions. We handle routine administrative coordination and bring your team the questions, authorisations and clinical decisions that need its attention.

A prepared client and a clearer point of contact

We explain the travel process to the owner, work through their questions and help distinguish travel requirements from requests that do not fit the journey. Your team receives organised information and focused questions rather than having to untangle the entire travel plan during a clinical appointment.

Our goal is to take routine travel administration and owner communication off your team’s plate, so you can concentrate on examinations, procedures and healthcare. We coordinate with your practice manager or designated contact and involve the veterinarian when clinical input, certificate review or authorisation is needed.

With the owner’s permission, we communicate on their behalf and work with the veterinarian, practice manager or designated team member. We agree a practical contact and communication process with your practice before coordinating records and appointments.

The veterinarian remains responsible for examining the pet, making clinical decisions, verifying certificate accuracy and issuing the certificate. We cannot issue veterinary certificates, direct clinical care or guarantee government approval or airline acceptance.

Effective coordination requires the owner’s authorisation and the practice’s cooperation. Our involvement does not appoint us to act for the veterinarian or transfer their professional responsibility.

When the travel plan changes

We reassess the documentation timeline and discuss alternatives with the owner. If in-cabin or checked-baggage travel becomes impractical and manifest-cargo flight booking is needed, the case can continue within Transcontinental Pet Movers. Existing work carries forward, and the consultation fee paid for the same journey is credited toward the full-service quotation.

A simple referral process

  1. Share this page or the owner inquiry form with your client.
  2. The owner describes the trip. We confirm whether we can help and explain the scope and fee before they engage us.
  3. After engagement, we obtain the necessary permission and establish a contact with your practice to review records and coordinate the plan.
  4. We work with the owner through that plan, involving your team where veterinary input or approval is needed.

The published consultation fee is $500–$800 for one dog or cat, depending on destination; multi-pet journeys and other species are quoted individually. The owner pays our professional fee. Veterinary, laboratory, government, courier and airline charges remain separate. The engagement covers one defined journey until travel, cancellation or 12 months from work beginning, whichever comes first.
