Find a USDA-accredited veterinarian near you.
Start with your ZIP code to find nearby listings from the USDA’s public directory. Then call the practice to confirm the veterinarian’s availability and whether they handle your pet’s destination requirements.

Before you book an appointment
- Ask whether the veterinarian is currently USDA-accredited and available at that location on your appointment date.
- Confirm that the practice handles your pet’s species and the health certificate requirements for your destination. Accreditation alone does not mean a practice offers every travel service.
- Tell the practice your intended travel date. Examinations, treatments, tests and USDA endorsement may have different deadlines.
Reviews and practice details
Use “Google Maps & reviews” in a listing or map pin to open the practice on Google Maps. Confirm that Google has matched the correct practice and location, then open its reviews. Reviews usually concern the practice, not an individual veterinarian.
About these listings
This independent tool uses the USDA’s public veterinarian directory, collected in October 2026. It is not operated or endorsed by USDA, and listings are not recommendations.
- Public listing is voluntary. Some accredited veterinarians decline to appear, and newly accredited veterinarians may not yet be listed.
- Accreditation and contact information can become outdated, including after an accreditation expires or is not renewed.
- Veterinarians move between hospitals or work at a location only on certain days. A listing does not confirm that a doctor will be there when you need them.
- Addresses, phone numbers, approximate distances and map locations may be inaccurate. Some addresses are mailing addresses. Contact the practice before travelling.
